Oops! Christmas Tree Causes Accident

Have you ever wondered why the Ice Rink is closed on the days that the is The Tree schedule to arrive? Yesterday, a 90-foot Christmas tree punctured through a wall at Fashion Island store in Newport Beach, CA during its delivery and to prevent 78-foot Norway Spruce for 2015 from landing on anyone visiting at Rockefeller Center, the Ice Rink is closed during that time. You can still be in the area but you will be waiting outside the barriers and in chilly weather to watch The Tree get erected into its new spot where it will stay for about eight weeks.
