The Tree Arrives in NYC for 2007

After traveling all night to minimize traffic congestion, The Tree arrived yesterday (Tuesday, December 4, 2007) at Rockefeller Center on 49th Street, awaiting to make its debut on NBC’s Today Show.

Later, Al Roker took a ride on the truck, then the crane pulled into position and The Tree was lifted off the truck so that it could be untied and have a spike driven into the base to act as a stablizing pivot.

We look forward to see The Tree, in all its glory, standing proud and tall in its new home in Rockefeller Plaza.
