If you were expecting 30,000 lights on The Tree due to your visit in the past, you will be blown away when you see The Tree illuminated using 45,000 energy efficient LED lights.

Be sure to have your camera, film, memory stick and batteries on hand but leave the tripod at home or in your hotel since it will not be allowed for use during your visit.

From my experience over the years taking photos, tripod are basically needed in low lighting conditions where balance is impertinent so if possible, do your photography when there is more light out.
